Important Shipping Update: Canada Post Strike in Effect
As of November 15th, Canada Post has initiated a national strike, significantly impacting small businesses across the country, causing disruptions to their shipping and order fulfillment processes.
To continue serving you during this period, I will be using FedEx, UPS, or other courier services as temporary alternatives. Please note that this will result in higher shipping costs until the strike is resolved, especially for international orders.
What You Need to Know
- Increased Shipping Costs: Courier fees may be 2–3 times higher depending on the destination.
- Delayed Free Shipping Codes: All free shipping discounts are suspended until normal operations resume.
- Optional Package Hold: If you prefer, I can hold onto your order until the strike is over and ship it via Canada Post. I’ll reimburse the shipping cost difference once the order is fulfilled. For example, shipping to the USA typically costs $21 CAD, but using alternative couriers, it can be as high as or more than $39 CAD. Also, even after the strike ends, delays are likely due to backlog in the system, which could affect delivery times, particularly around the holiday season. If you're interested in this option, please contact me before your purchase or leave a note in the comments section to prevent any missteps in processing your shipment.
Please feel free to reach out with any questions or preferences. I truly appreciate your patience and support during this challenging time—thank you for choosing to support small businesses <3
